Aurora offers an extensive line of outdoor field passives for use in splice enclosures, vaults, and optical nodes (including VHubs), and new passives are continually being added to meet the evolving needs of MSOs.
Aurora's field passives have been designed to support both the forward and return path transmission of analog and digital signals. Available in a variety of packages (ruggedized and non-ruggedized, with multiple fiber pigtail options, and with or without connecters), these devices complement the complete lines of optical passives available from Aurora for installation in headend and hub chassis.
Included among the product offerings are several varieties of optical mux and demux packages and filters for various wavelength plans (CWDM, DWDM, LcWDM) and optical splitters and couplers.

• Extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C)
• Relative humidity up to 95%
• Low insertion and polarization dependent losses
• High channel isolation to minimize crosstalk
• Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 qualified, providing excellent environmental and
mechanical stability
• Epoxy-free on optical path
