OP94Mxxx and OP94Dxxx
5- and 10-channel CWDM Mux and Demux Field Passives
for Ethernet Access System

Enlarged Photo (106k)

The Aurora Networks OP94Mxxx and OP94Dxxx series of 5- and 10-channel CWDM field passives are designed to multiplex and demultiplex, respectively, 5 or 10 CWDM ITU-grid optical wavelengths, with individual wavelengths ranging from 1430 to 1610 nm (with 20 nm spacing between channels). OP94M10S modules multiplex 10 channels onto a single fiber output, with corresponding OP94D10S modules demultiplexing a single fiber input to produce 10 individual wavelengths. The 5-channel OP94M5x and OP94D5x modules function similarly and are available in two channel groups (''Low'', 1430 to 1510 nm, or ''High'', 1530 to 1610 nm). The 5-channel modules also include an additional port for cascading Low and High channel groups where needed. All of these ruggedized modules have been designed for use in an outdoor environment within a temperature range of –40° to +85°C. All versions of these modules are shown in these functional block diagrams.
