Sam Elliott Joins Aurora Networks as Director of Sales Southwest Region

Santa Clara, CA — February 12, 2007 — Aurora Networks, a global leader in advanced optical transport systems, announced the hiring of Sam Elliott as director of sales for its southwest region. Strategically based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Elliott is responsible for serving Aurora’s customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Elliott’s career spans 25 years in the cable industry, including 12 years as regional sales manager for Telewire/ANTEC (now ARRIS). Most recently, he served as regional sales manager for Harmonic, Inc. He has also held sales management positions at ADC, Juniper Networks and IPITEK. In addition to working with multiple systems operators (MSOs), Elliott will draw upon his experience with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) to enhance relationships with independent operators throughout the southwest.
