Aurora Networks Names Michael Crotts VP of National Accounts and Tom DeMuse Mid-America Account Manager

Santa Clara, CA — August 1, 2006 — Aurora Networks, the third-largest supplier of advanced optical transport systems to the global broadband cable market, announced two additions to its sales team. Industry veteran Michael Crotts was named vice president of national accounts and Tom DeMuse joined Aurora Networks as account manager for the company’s mid-America region.

A respected cable veteran, Crotts will apply his 32 years of industry experience as he manages Aurora Networks’ ongoing and future business relationships with Cox Communications and other multiple systems operators (MSOs). Prior to joining Aurora, Crotts was a regional account executive for C-COR, Inc., a position he held since 1984. In addition to his extensive sales expertise, Crotts’ career includes cable operations experience stemming from his service at Summit Cable Services, Wometco Cable, Inc., and Best Communications.

As account manager, DeMuse will assist Aurora Networks’ customers in identifying solutions to rapidly and cost effectively deploy advanced services and optimize network operations. His territory includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Previously, DeMuse served as senior account manager for ADC. He holds a bachelors degree in marketing management from the College of Saint Thomas.
