Thomas Harbourne Joins Aurora Networks to Spearhead Western Region Sales

Santa Clara, CA — August 22, 2005 — Aurora Networks, a global leader in advanced optical transport systems for broadband networks, announced that industry veteran Thomas Harbourne has joined the company as western region sales director, a position previously held by Eddie Feghali who recently relocated to Beirut, Lebanon to oversee Aurora’s rapidly growing Eastern European and Middle East region.

In this position, Harbourne will leverage his extensive customer relationships in the region to help cable operators in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington identify and implement Aurora’s advanced optical solutions to optimize network performance and enable the deployment of advanced services.

Harbourne has more than two decades of technical sales experience within the cable community. Prior to joining Aurora, he managed sales for C-Cor’s western division. Harbourne is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and is active in the group’s San Diego Chapter.
