Unity I-Link™ to Bridge Digital Divide by Educating Urban Families and Businesses
Santa Clara, CA August 16, 2005 Aurora Networks, a global
leader in advanced optical transport systems for broadband networks, will provide the
technology to create a wireless network at the West Philadelphia Unity Day™ 2005
(WPUD). The family-oriented event is expected to attract 10,000 attendees on September

Aurora’s Power-Over-Ethernet Gateway, a DOCSIS standard-based solution,
will be implemented by the local cable provider, Urban Cable, to provide free 802.11

communities throughout Philadelphia by raising awareness of the unique applications of
wireless technologies in homes and businesses," shared Nathaniel Thompson, the WPUD
event organizer and president and CEO of Forge Solutions, Inc.
"Aurora Networks is pleased to support the Unity I-Link Project which
