Thomas Weldon Joins Aurora to Spearhead Asian Sales

Santa Clara, CA — July 12, 2005 — Effective July 1, cable industry veteran Thomas Weldon joined Aurora Networks as sales director of Asia. In this position, Weldon will leverage his wealth of experience to foster customer relationships and accelerate Aurora’s penetration in the rapidly growing market.

Weldon has more than 25 years of experience in technical sales and support in Asia. Most recently, while serving as senior sales engineer for Production Products Company (PPC), Weldon successfully launched the cable hardware manufacturer’s sales initiatives in Thailand, Korea and Vietnam. Additional career highlights include establishing successful product distribution networks for Silicon Valley Communications and IPITEK and serving as the international sales support manager for General Instrument Corporation (now a part of Motorola Corp.), a manufacturer of cable set top boxes and modems.
