Aurora Networks Announces Headquarters Move
Additional Space Allows for Quadrupling of Production Floor to Meet
Increasing Customer Demand
Santa Clara, CA. November 18, 2002 Aurora Networks, a leading
developer of advanced optical transport systems for broadband networks, announced today
that it has moved to a new 24,000 square foot headquarters facility located in Santa Clara,
California, approximately one mile from its previous location. The new facility more than
quadruples the space available for manufacturing and testing operations, and is officially
open for business as of today.
"Aurora has been growing at a steady rate, and with the increasing demand
for our products, we needed to relocate to a facility that could accommodate a significantly
larger production floor to keep up with our customers’ needs," said Guy Sucharczuk,
Chairman, President & CEO of Aurora Networks. "The additional space will allow us
to improve our production efficiency and to continue to provide the high level of
manufacturing and test process quality that our customers have come to expect from Aurora.
We look forward to serving our customers from this new headquarters location, and encourage
everyone to visit our new building and tour our state-of-the-art operation."
The new building will house all of Aurora’s California-based staff, including
Engineering, Sales, Customer Service and Support, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
