Aurora Networks Expands North America Sales Coverage
New VP of Sales and Canadian Subsidiary Enhance Ability to Service
Broadband Customers
Santa Clara, CA. May 22, 2002 Aurora Networks, a leading
developer of advanced optical transport systems for broadband networks, announces
the addition of Judy Donovan as Aurora's Vice President, Sales. In this position,
she will be responsible for all sales activities within North America. In addition,
Aurora has opened Aurora Networks Canada, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aurora
Networks, providing direct sales coverage and support to the Canadian market. Garry
O'Neil, recently appointed Director of Sales for Canada and the Great Lakes Region,
will manage the operation.

Judy Donovan has over twenty years of professional sales and management
experience with technology products in the telecommunications and broadband industries.
Before joining Aurora Networks, she served seven years at ADC Telecommunications,
ending her service there as Group Vice President of Broadband for North America.
Prior to ADC, Judy's career spanned sixteen years at Digital Equipment Corporation,
focusing on the telecommunications industry. She has been instrumental in penetrating
the communications industry with new technologies such as video-on-demand (VOD) and
hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) telephony as well as IP data and voice. Judy Donovan can be

Garry O'Neil is a twenty-five year cable industry veteran, having spent
most of that time in sales roles for leading value-added resellers, primarily servicing
the Canadian cable television market. He most recently served as President of ATX
Networks, the sales division of ATX Telecom. Garry got his cable television start in
Technical Operations for York Cablevision, now part of Rogers Cable.
